- What hours is your event space available?
When you book our VIP package on a weekend, venue access is from 12 p.m. to 12 a.m. Weeknights are 3 p.m. to 12 a.m.
- What staffing services are included with a reservation?
Our staff handles the setup & tear down of LaVela equipment
- Is your venue suitable for a wedding ceremony and reception?
Our venue can accommodate both your ceremony and reception. Depending on your guest count we can offer Oscar or Theater-style seating.
- Do I have Friday day or night access?
Since our Friday's book quickly, we don't offer Friday access without additional rental charges.
- What equipment do you offer?
We supply 60" round tables with black banquet chairs. We have a limited number of 6 & 8-foot tables for use. Black & white lap length linens are included.
- Do you allow outside catering & alcohol?
At LaVela we handle the catering & bar services. We do not allow alcohol to be brought on property. Wedding cakes & special bakery items are allowed.
- Do you have private rooms?
Included with your reservation, we offer private rooms for you and your wedding party on your special day.
- Do you require security services?
For events where alcohol is served, security is required.
- Can LaVela’s staff help with decorations?
You have a unique vision for your event, and we can help you create it. We have an experienced venue coordinator that can discuss our in-house décor options. If you prefer to handle the details yourself, LaVela staff cannot assist with the setup or breakdown of personal property.
- Do you allow candles?
We only allow tea candles in vases filled with water due to fire hazards.
- Do you offer payment plans?
We require a $500 non-refundable deposit with a signed contract to reserve your date. The venue fee is due 90 days prior to your event. Full payment for catering, event staffing, & other services is due 14 business days prior to your event.
- What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation of the event 90-60 calendar days prior to the event: Deposit plus remaining venue rental fee. Cancellation of the event 30-60 calendar days prior to the event: Deposit plus 50% of the overall bill. Cancellation of the event less than 30 calendar days prior to the event: Deposit plus 75% of the overall bill.
- What kind of exits do you allow?
We do not allow confetti, glitter, or loose materials to be thrown. Sparklers can be used, but the client must have a plan in place to light & extinguish without injury to guests or property.
